Entrepreneurship Program (Group 2)

The entrepreneurship programs for Batch 2 were held on August 25th and 26th, 2021. The materials for Batch 2 are similar to what Batch 1 received on August 19th and 20th. However, the discussions and the dynamic of each group are different. The program aimed to enrich and refresh knowledge of VDMI alumni and grantees in doing business.

The first two sessions focused on reframing the business mindset of the VDMI family. Business is not all about gaining profit. To grow a business, we should intend to prosper and empower more people. By doing so, our businesses can have wider social impacts. Various questions asked by the participants throughout the session. Ayu Larasati, alumna from Sanata Dharma University asked about strategies to prevent challenges when doing business. Pak Iwan suggested, “Do not be afraid of challenges. Every business should overcome one to another challenges.”
