Visit Partners in Surabaya Region

8 – 9 July 2024, Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia together with Hanneke Teekens (VDMS Board Netherlands) visited four partner universities in Surabaya (Hang Tuah University, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Airlangga University and Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya). The visit was held to get to know the universities (partners) better and talk with university leaders and grantees. The visit was divided into two days and adjusted to the availability of time at each university.

In addition to the grantees, Hanneke and VDMI had the opportunity to meet and discuss with Prof. Dr. Ir. Supartono MM CIQaR (Rector of Hang Tuah University), Dr. Imam Abadi, S.T., M.T. (Director of the Directorate of Student Affairs, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology), Prof. Dr. Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto, DEA, DVM (Vice Rector for Academic, Student Affairs and Alumni, Airlangga University) and Dr. Ir. Hj. Endang Noerhartati, MP. (Vice Rector for Cooperation of Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya). In addition, PIC (Person in Charge) at each university also accompanied and discussed the conditions of grantees and how the VDMI scholarship impacted them.

Hopefully the relationship between VDMI and partner universities can run well so that more grantees can feel the presence of VDMI for their education and life.
