VDMS Board Visit in Yogyakarta

Last August 11 up to August 12, we have a visit from our Boards Ms. Ute Jansen (as a Chairboard), Dr. Thijs Schut and Prof. Benjamin N. White as Board members), and VDMS Office team.

 Their visit due to the intention of VDMS Mission to enlarge the scope of Partnerships and Developing Program for our next Strategy. Due to the time limit of the visit, VDMS Board and Office team had a good and nice meeting with some of VDMS grantees from Gadjah Mada University, Sanata Dharma University and Duta Wacana Christian University, as you can see from the following pictures.

We thank you very much for the arrangement, especially to

• Universitas Gadjah Mada, Pak Siddiq as Head of student welfare, Ibu Mathilda as secretary, Ibu Uti as staff and 6 grantees (Galuh, Yona, Rizal, Rini, Fitri and Dewi)

• Universitas Sanata Dharma, Pak F.X. Ouda Teda Ena, M.Pd., Ed.D. as Vice Rector IV, Pak Tri as VDMS PIC, and 15 grantees and alumni. They also had the same meeting like in UGM.

The students talk about their background and their activities outside university, shared experience, suggestion and hope.

The visit was only for 2 days, and to be continued to Sumba and Flores to explore potential new Partnerships.
