Ramadan Berbagi VDMI

Alumni and Grantee Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia held a fundraising event for Ramadan Berbagi on April 12 – April 19, 2022. This activity aims to share with the surrounding community. The collected funds of Rp 9,812,000 were managed by Nunung Cahyaningsih (an alumna from Semarang State University).

Donations were distributed to 13 regions for distribution by the VDMI Family in the form of basic necessities to people in need. The distribution of basic necessities will be held on April 30 – May 1, 2022. Distribution areas: Medan, Padang, Bogor, Semarang, Kebumen, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Manado, Gorontalo, Makassar and Ambon. The basic necessities provided included rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, canned fish, sugar, eggs, and flour.

Food is given to pedicab drivers, parking attendants, cleaners, orphanages and people in need. The community is grateful for the assistance that has been received and is very useful.
