VDMI Social Project

Van Deventer Maas Indonesia (VDMI) back to hold a social project for supporting its Regional Representatives (RR). After successfully held the social project for RR Jawa Timur in March 2020, this time VDMI supports RR Makassar programs at Assyifa orphanage, Makassar. The programs are sustainable farming and teaching English to the 52 residents in the orphanage.

To succeed the programs, RR Makassar sent a proposal to VDMI asking for help in fundraising. Thus, VDMI held the Social Project for RR Makassar. VDMI raises the donation by selling VDMI merchandise in a form of a Jacket. The pre-order was opened from October 8 to November 7, 2020. The price for a jacket includes Rp 15.000 donation for the RR Makassar program. When the pre-order closed, 420 jackets were sold and resulted in a total donation of Rp 7.716.500. The donation will be distributed to RR Makassar after all orders are completed.

VDMI thanks to VDMI family (grantees, alumni, and PIC) who participate in this social project. VDMI appreciates their contribution especially because it is done in this current situation where many people are impacted financially by the consequence of the pandemic. Hopefully, this small act can create a big impact for the residents of Assyifa orphanage. VDMI encourages other RR to initiate social programs to help and create changes in their communities.
