MoU VDMS and Universitas Flores

On 18 April 2017, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Van Deventer Maas Stichting(VDMS) and Universitas Flores (Unflor) was signed. Based on the MoU signed, VDMS agree to support the education by providing scholarship to selected students of Unflor from year 2 until year 4. The criteria for the scholarships award were based on special qualification standards and there would be a priority to students from low-income families. The amount of the planned scholarships scheme is Rp. 650.000 for each student each month.

The event was attended by VDMS board and staff:  Prof. dr. Jan Passchier (Secretary of VDMS board), Pariasih Manoto(Head of VDMS Representative Indonesia), Nofri Daniel (VDMS Scholarship Coordinator). The staffs of Unflor: Yohanes Laka Suku, ST (executive secretary of unflor), Fransiskus Korosando, S.Pd., M.Pd(PIC VDMS for UNFLOR and as Vice Rector for Student Affairs), Murdaningsih, SP., MP. (Vice Rector for Cooperation affairs), deans from each faculty and selected students.

At the end of the event, there were souvenirs exchanging between Unflor and VDMS. Then the symbolic presentation of the VDMS Scholarship Administration System.
