NEXT: #OtotSendi Ramadan 2026

During Ramadan 2026, #OTOTSENDI (Meaningful Conversations with the VDMI Family) will be featured on Instagram Live @yvdmi. Nine alumni will share their experiences and how they got to where they are today. This activity aims to provide positive insights, encourage, and build relationships and connections among the VDMI Family through various meaningful stories.

The first week’s topic is “Mark Your Mark” – three alumni will share what they are currently working on that is making a real difference in their communities. Tuesday, February 24, 2026 (15.00 WIB) with Kesuma Anugerah Yanti – Founder of Borneo Urban Lab; Friday, February 27, 2026 (15.00 WIB) with Dr. Petrus Lodo Nono – Coordinator of Riung Barat Animal Health Center, Ngada Livestock Service; and Saturday, February 28, 2026 (10.00 WIB) with Annisa Taqwa Zazi Muslin – Program Manager of Therapy and Rehabilitation at PLATO Foundation. 

The second week will focus on the topic “Overseas Hustle: Challenges Unleashed” – three alumni will share how they began their careers working abroad. What challenges did they face, and what valuable experiences did they gain while working overseas? Sunday, March 1, 2026 (13.00 WIB) with Indriani Dewi – Kaigo at Arima Onsen Hospital, Kobe, Japan; Monday, March 2, 2026 (15.00 WIB) with Frans Prathama – AI and Solution Engineer, Formation Labs, Co. Ltd – South Korea; and Friday, March 6, 2026 (15.00 WIB) with Ryaniraffiyadita – Owner of Raja Gurih (Indonesian Restaurant) – Perth, Australia.

The final week features the topic “Global Grants: Unlock Abroad” with three alumni currently pursuing advanced education abroad. Learn how they secured scholarships and navigate life as international students. Tuesday, March 10, 2026 (15.00 WIB) with Andi Annisa T Ramadhani – EPSRC CDT in Aerosol Science, United Kingdom; Wednesday, March 11, 2026 (15.00 WIB) with Frandy Efraim Fritz Karundeng – PhD Economics and Management, University of Sopron – Hungary; and Friday, March 13, 2026 (15.00 WIB) with Dedi Sanjaya – Ph.D. Student in Crosscultural Communication at Massey University, New Zealand.
