YVDMI-VDMS Annual Joint Meeting 2025

The 2025 – Annual Joint Meeting between Yayasan Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia (YVDMI) and Van Deventer-Maas Stichting (VDMS) in Netherlands successfully held at the Melia Purosani Hotel Yogyakarta. Represented by their colleagues in VDMS, Ute Jansen (Chairperson) and Ivo Ten Pierick (Treasurer) join the face-to-face meeting.

Lead by Prof. Ir. Irfan Dwidya Prijambada, M.Eng., Ph.D. (YVDMI The Advisory Chairperson), the meeting was not only focused on reviewing 2025 YVDMI activities (scholarship, capacity building online and offline, project, and finance realization), plan for 2026 activities and budgeting, but also open discussion on the YVDMI’s Board successor after the second 5-year tour of duty ends on August 2027 (further discussion on next 2026 Half-year Joint Meeting on July 25, 2026). Both sides agree that the legacy of Betsy Maas (to support the education of the young generation in Indonesia) will be continued through the useful programs.
