2024 Annual Joint Meeting VDMS/YVDMI

Welcoming 2025, the Yayasan Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia (YDMI) and Van Deventer-Maas Stichting carry out the Annual Joint Meeting year of 2024 (hybrid meeting) on January 18, 2025 at Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta hotel. Board Members of VDMS attended the meeting in Yogyakarta were Berit Van Hulst (Vice Chairperson), Ivo ten Pierick (Treasurer), and Sicco Jacobs (Secretary), and all Board Members of YVDMI. The meeting starts with the short speech from Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ar. Ir. Ilya Fadjar Maharika, MA., I.A.I. (Pembina of YVDMI) and Ute Jansen (Chairperson of VDMS).

During 2024, as reported by Pariasih Manoto (The Head of Executive-YVDMI) in The YVDMI Executive Annual Report-2024, VDMI has successfully managed the Online Registration for Scholarship, the implementation of 15 (fifteen) capacity building activities (8 of them were offline, and 7 were online), the renewal of Partners MoU, and a Grantees Update Survey (to know the grantees condition) distributes to 1.000 grantees (85%=805 grantees respond). In aspect of financial, YVDMI Annual Financial Report 2023 was done audited by Public Accountant Hadori Sugiarto Adi and Rekan, and also reports the realization in 2024 reaches 100% as in Plan 2024. Based on the YVDMI Annual Report 2024, VDMS still committed to support young students in Indonesia in line with the current VDMS/YVDMI strategy.

In 2025, YVDMI plan to organize 8 offline capacity buildings, to finish the handing over of Re-writing SAS project, and collaborates with SCTV/Indosiar Peduli in Women Empowerment especially for the women in Fatumnasi Village, Timor Tengah Selatan (Province of Nusa Tenggara Timur) by organizing “Women Leadership-Education Gender Equality” Workshop.
